Oral Presentation

  1. Motivate the audience during the description of its project
  2. Explain his or her code (SQL, C++, C#, Javascript,...) including classes and important parts of the application
  3. Show the execution of the application or program
  4. Voice volume was appropiate (similar to Morgan Freeman)
  5. Fluent and consistent speech (without repeating words or questions, without using "like", "this", ...)
  6. The student did not say anything negative during the presentation
  7. The student said something positive to appreciate somebody's project
  8. The professor will verbally attack the student (or the project): the student will use this opportunity to show up his project.

  3. Demostrar la ejecución de la aplicación o programa
  4. El volumen de la voz fue apropiado (parecido a Javier a la Torre)
  5. Discurso fluído y consistente (sin repetir palabras, preguntas, ni usar muletillas tales como "este", "pues"etc.)
  6. El estudiante no dijo nada negativo durante la presentación
  7. El estudiante dijo algo positivo para apreciar el proyecto de alguien mas
  8. El profesor atacará al estudiante (o al proyecto): El estudiante aprovechará la oportunidad para hacer lucir su proyecto.

Report

A printed report of two pages must be handed before the start of the presentation.
  1. The project MUST have: the name of the class, the name of the student, the date, the name of the University, and the name of the professor. Additionally, the report must indicate that it is the final project of the class.
  2. Project has name and description
  3. Has screenshots and/or diagrams (i.e. block diagram, UML or SQL diagrams with tables and relationships)
  4. The most important parts of the program are commented using code pieces
  5. The report has conclusions
Students should have their project open and ready to show the different points to evaluate. To save time, students can have their project open several times, if convenient for the presentation.
Un reporte impreso de dos páginas debe entregarse antes de iniciar la presentación.
  1. El proyecto debe tener: el nombre de la clase, el nombre del estudiante, la fecha, el nombre de la Universidad, el nombre del profesor. Adicionalmente, el reporte debe indicar que es el proyecto final de la clase.
  2. El proyecto tiene un nombre y una descripción
  3. Tiene capturas de pantalla y/o diagramas (por ejemplo: diagramas de bloques, de UML o diagrama SQL de tablas y sus relaciones )
  4. Las partes más importantes del programa son comentadas usando trozos de código
  5. El reporte tiene conclusiones
Los estudiantes pueden tener sus proyecto abierto y listo para mostrar los diferentes puntos a evaluar. Para ahorrar tiempo, los estudiantes pueden tener sus proyectos abiertos varias veces, si esto es conveniente para la presentación.
